Replace Siding
There are few things that you can do that make as much of an impact as replacing the siding on your home. With new siding, your house can go from having a tired exterior to one with renewed life, and one of the nicest looking on your block. Your home’s siding may be starting to flake and peel even after just a few years of being painted. The old siding that has been there forever may be developing rot, mold, or mildew which makes it difficult for the paint to hold. And, if there are any loose or missing boards, your home’s weather resistance is reduced, resulting in higher heating and air conditioning costs over time. The suitably warm weather of summer is the best time to tackle this project.
Repairing/Replacing Windows
Another great exterior renovation project for summer is installing new or repairing old windows. Drafty windows that have developed space between the window and frame results in higher heating and cooling costs as well as lower levels of indoor comfort. Be sure to check your windows every once in a while for water or air leaks that may be present. Replacing or repairing your windows can increase the energy efficiency of your home and enhance the overall value of it. Refacing Kitchen and Bathroom Cabinets

Cabinet refacing involves replacing cabinet doors and drawer fronts and installing matching veneer on the face of the cabinet bases. Refacing can be a great, cost-saving option if the existing cabinets are in good shape and where the existing kitchen layout works well as it is. You can have new wood or laminate veneer over existing cabinet and drawer fronts or you can choose to have completely new cabinet doors and drawer fronts installed. Either way, you’ll think you’ve got a new kitchen when it’s done!

You can paint the interior of a house anytime because it is climate controlled. But, there is no better time of the year to paint the exterior of your house than the summer, especially early summer when there are fewer threats of hurricanes.
A fresh coat of paint gives everything a new attitude and, obviously, a good paint job beautifies and adds character and personality to your home. But, additionally, a good paint job has benefits beyond aesthetics such as:
